Parshat Balak

Sweetest Friends, Attached is the this weeks installment of The Written Shu-Shine on the Torah portion of ’Balak’: Silent in the Morning

Quote of the Week, a preview from this week’s Sichah

“The fields sang along with all the creatures that live in them. So rejoiced the trees of the forest.” “The sea raised its voice... The rivers clapped their hands.” (Psalms 96 & 98) King David could hear the conversations of the world around him. The Arizal challenged his students, and challenges us until today to go out every Friday evening, at dusk, at sunset, into the fields to sing these words that King David sang, that King David composed, and to listen...And to try to hear the song that’s always being sung...

Wishing everyone the highest Shabbat!

With love and smile,

~Shu
